Our Estate Cabernet is crafted from our Rutherford and Oakville vineyards. Exhibiting rich characteristics of dark complex fruits, minerality and balanced intensity, the layers of this wine truly reflect our vineyards terroir. Our flagship Estate Cabernet opens with enticing aromas of wild strawberry and cocoa. Exquisite texture concentrated flavours of raspberry, allspice and pepper. Long finish summarizes the diverse flavours from Rutherford and Oakville vineyards.

Round Pond Estate is a 468 acre Rutherford farm and winery that specializes in creation of pure, expressive wines from the heart of Napa Valley. We also own a 10 acre vineyard in the famed Oakville Bench. Situated at the main Rutherford crossroads, between Beaulieu Vineyards and Caymus Winery, Round Pond has been growing premium wine grapes since the early 1980s. Because we begin with some of the finest wine grapes in the world, our goal is not to construct a personality for Round Pond wines, but to allow each Round Pond wine to find its own expressive voice.
Today, our vineyard represents 12% of all Cabernet grown in Rutherford, and we continue to sell most of our grapes to over 20 wineries in the Napa Valley. We started our own label in 2002 under guidance of consulting wine maker TOP GUN Thomas R. Brown.
