A terrific value from Castellina in Chianti. Bright and fresh, red fruit-focused, succulent and juicy, vigourous but with fine-grained tannins, a wine from relatively high elevation vineyards - 400 meters on the soil type know as "Formazione di Silano", a type of limey marl prevalent in the Castellina in Chianti region. It's drinking beautifully now on the fruit, though it will surely hold and turn more savoury in the next 2-3 years. WELL MADE, well balanced and Delicious.

Baby Brunello: a younger more accessible version of Brunello, but it carries excellent structure and heaps of personality. Made with 100% organically grown Sangiovese grapes, this wine has a bright ruby red colour with violet reflections. The aroma is intense with a fresh fruitiness with notes of violet, cherry, and plum. The tannin’s are ripe and soft, leading into a long finish.
